The weather looks a lot like Thursday for TGIF. Florida remains under influence of a high centered over Louisiana, providing an east-to-west flow. It will be a hot one today, especially further north, but it won’t be as bad as other places. Most of the southeast, parts of the Midwest, and Ohio valley could see temps today over 100. The high should slowly move east throughout the day today. With enough dry and sinking air, I expect very little rain across the state today. It’s a great day for a beach trip or a dive in a pool.
Panhandle: Mostly sunny. Highs in the low 90s along the coast, mid 90s further inland.
North Florida: Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 90s along I-10, mid 90s further south.
Central Florida: Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 90s.
South Florida: Partly cloudy. Very slim chance of a stray shower. Highs around 90 on the coast and in the Keys, low 90s inland.
